About Us
OnBoard Outfitters™ was founded in 2008. The concept has been a dream of founder
and co-owner, Lisa LaBelle, for many years. As a fitness instructor, educator, and mom
of two boys, Lisa recognized the need for products and programs that helped families
be active together, so that physical fitness became routine – a part of every-day life. In
turn, she believes this will help combat the growing epidemic of childhood obesity, by
teaching kids from infancy to move, stretch, and get onboard with fitness.
Our Special Materials
Lisa developed our pending patent material combination, StruXure™, which combines performance fabrics with antimicrobial foam, making it ideal for fitness, recreation, travel and other active lifestyle needs. The material dries quickly; resists stain, mildew, and fading; provides protection against UV rays and the elements; and is easy to clean – perfect for living life “on the go.”
Our Products
Our first to-market product is the OnBoard SportsBaby™ carrier, which allows parents and babies to get fit and active together, including enjoying water-based sports and
exercise. Use it in the pool or on land – wherever you go, your baby can go with you!
Wholesale and Licensing
We sell our products wholesale to other resellers and vendors, and have a line-up of
other exciting products that will incorporate the same functional, all-weather materials
to meet your fitness and recreational needs.
OnBoard also licenses our materials to other companies that have a similar goal to
make stylish, quality products for sports and recreation, and family fitness.
Fitness Programs
We are developing water- and land-based fitness programs that will be offered in
communities across the U.S. and around the world. These classes are being tested and
certified, to ensure the safety of parents and baby, and offer a unique mix of exercises
that utilize water resistance and floor aerobics. By combining our unique, patent-
pending carrier with proprietary fitness routines, moms and dads all over the world can
bring Baby onboard while they reach their fitness goals.
