Ms. LaBelle is the Founder and President of OnBoard Outfitters and the lead product designer. Her long-term vision is to create a business which designs performance-based products and fabrications used worldwide by active individuals and families. Ms. LaBelle is certified with the AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) as an instructor of primary fitness and yoga, and is also a certified aquatic fitness trainer. She is an avid runner (marathon and triathlon), hiker, cyclist, and swimmer. As such, she envisions OnBoard Outfitters becoming a preferred brand for active individuals and families who also seek products that reflect her own high expectations: multi-use, care-free, all-weather, rugged, and fun-to-use recreational, fitness, and travel products.

Ms. LaBelle’s design style begins with her own active lifestyle pursuits. In many ways, she designs products for herself. Her personal endeavors are major factors in her creative design style. She is passionate about fitness, especially fitness activities which encourage parent-child interaction. Troubled by the alarming rise in childhood obesity and diabetes, Lisa believes that family fitness routines, where the family participates in sports and exercises, is one key to combating these growing threats to good health. She further believes that children who have regularly scheduled exercise routines beginning as infants are more likely to extend these healthy behaviors as they mature.

Ms. LaBelle views quality performance products as tools which extend workouts into family relationships. Performance enabling products corroborate her values and speak to her ambitions. As a young mother, she was frustrated by the lack of any apparatus at the time which enabled new mothers to safely engage in water-based exercise with their infants, hence, the SportsBaby™.

Ms. LaBelle is the mother of two active grown boys, and understands the needs of the target consumer base: moms, dads, infants, teens, and older adults who expect products that work well with their recreational, fitness, and physical needs. Ms. LaBelle is an entrepreneur who continually seeks ways to make everyday products better and more adaptable to fit an active and healthy lifestyle. She has a bachelor’s degree in Education, with a minor in physical education, from the University of Utah.
